Blue Hills
Our Blue Hills – Tanimbla wine range takes it’s name form the iconic ABC radio serial in Australia. Blue Hills was broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC) for 27 years, from February 1949 to September 1976 and was at one time the world’s longest running radio serial.
Named for a fictional town set in a typical rural Australian location which would have been historically like many of the rural towns where our current generations of winemakers now live and work. It was full of characters and character that embodied the soul of Australian rural life.
